GLOBAL SEALED TENDER NOTICE

FOR

PRINTING AND SUPPLY OF NEPALESE PAPER BANKNOTES

(First date of Publication 9th August 2007)

Global sealed tenders are hereby invited for the printing and supply of Rupees 100 and Rupees 50 denomination banknotes to be printed and supplied from among the following pre-qualified security printers listed in the pre-qualifying list of this bank:

The tender document will be made available at Nepal Rastra Bank, Currency management Department, Thapathali, and Nepal Rastra Bank, Central Office, General Service Department, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, Nepal, against the payment of Nepalese Rupees 10,000.00 (Non-refundable) for each denomination document.

The tenders may be purchased by the security printers or authorized local agent by them against the presentation of their letter duly authorizing the local agent on their behalf. In case, any security printers wishes to receive the tender documents by Courier service, it may request us by sending a request letter alongwith the above mentioned tender fee or equivalent to that amount in US Dollar, Pound Sterling, Euro or Canadian Dollar.

The tender for each denomination shall be submitted separately. The last date and time for the submission of tenders will be 46th day at 2:00 P.M. In case the last date for submission of tender happens to be a public holiday in Nepal, the following office day will apply.
