Strategic Plan 2006-2010

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is undergoing a major restructuring process in its policy and operational fronts . The adoption of liberal economic policies in general and financial sector policies in particular followed by changing structure of the Nepalese economy is signalling for the restructuring of the NRB for policy credibility and operational efficiency. In the changed economic scenario and changing focus of modern central banks on conducting monetary policy as the prime responsibility, NRB is giving more focus on transparency and accountability in monetary management .
